Mode 1: SCOUT AI Mode
In SCOUT AI Mode, the M-Core Computer is optimized for seamless integration with your existing chart plotter or Multi-Function Display (MFD). Upon startup, the system automatically launches SCOUT AI, a powerful software application that enables real-time obstacle detection directly on your MFD screen. This setup enhances navigational safety without altering your existing setup.
Mode 2: Marine Commander Mode
Marine Commander Mode transforms the M-Core Computer into a fully functional marine navigation and control hub. Designed for use with an external monitor, this mode unlocks the full potential of the M-Core, providing access to a suite of advanced marine software applications:
SCOUT AI: Advanced obstacle detection software for enhanced safety.
OpenCPN: A highly versatile chart plotting software supporting radar integration, weather monitoring overlay on the maps, autopilot connectivity, AIS, and more. It supports a wide range of chart formats.
Video Stream Software: Supports up to four IP cameras, providing live video feeds from critical locations such as rear view, side views, or engine room, or 360 bird view setup, ensuring comprehensive situational awareness.
Propulsion Control and System Monitor (Will be available in future updates): Provides control over key vessel functions, including bow and stern thrusters, engine management, anchor winch, mainsheet electric winch, and other winches. For full functionality, the M-Core must be connected to the MX-Bus – a dedicated network that interconnects all propulsion and auxiliary gateways in a single network.
