Remote operation can be implemented using secure wireless communication links such as telemetry radios, GSM/LTE networks, or satellite connectivity including Starlink.
For enhanced situational awareness, optional sensor integration—such as thermal vision cameras—provides operators with reliable visibility during night operations and low-visibility conditions.
Manual handling remains unchanged at all times—autonomy is an added capability, not a replacement for traditional vessel control.

Maritronix gateways provide a robust CANbus-based interface between autonomous control systems and real marine propulsion and steering equipment.
